The roper whitney autobrake 2000 has combined one of the best metal folding machines on the market with new state-of-the-art controls. With the Autobrake you have the choice of two CNC control options, the A2000 controller with user friendly features or the new enhanced Orion control with a graphic’s-based programming.

The Orion CNC Control system comes with a Intel Pentium processor, a 15” XGA anti-glare flat panel touch screen, Western Digital hard drive with storage for over 1Million part programs, Windows based operating system, 64 megabytes of RAM memory, 2 megabytes of video RAM, a 3 1/2” floppy drive, 56k fax/modem card, 40x CD ROM.

The brake also features the option of a standard 40” back-gauge or a 60” backgauge, along with the added feature of Ropers KOMBI beam. The KOMBI beam allows you to change from the straight bending tooling to the box and pan tooling in a manner of just 7 seconds. This is done by the patented rotating upper beam which allows the operator to rotate the KOMBI beam automatically and simply, all within the CNC part program.
